Description
The Top Operating Systems Report: Patterns (osgroups) option is used to indicate that
all operating systems matching a particular
pattern should be reported as the same operating system in the
user agents report.
Each line of the Top Operating Systems Report: Patterns (osgroups) option contains a
pattern and a title for that pattern. See the Patterns and Regular Expressions
section for more information.
The patterns shown here match references to several popular
operating systems. Each character of each operating system name
is matched against each pattern in the osgroups list.
An * in a pattern matches any number of characters in
a document name. A ? in a pattern matches any one character.
Patterns have additional features, including support for regular expressions;
for more information, see the Patterns and Regular Expressions
section.
