Recently, "while deployed at a remote location" a B-1 landed without its wheels down (whoops!) My understanding is that it was pilot error (double whoops!). According to the AF website, the plane skidded 1.5 miles before coming to a stop.

The funny thing is that pilot training is so expensive that they will give him a new one in a month.

Pilot just before landing: Co-pilot, will you shut off that awful horn(landing gear warning horn).
Co-pilot: No sweat boss, it annoys me too.
