Me
It's always funny to me that an airplane wing is so thin and seemingly frail but they always seem to win any kind of "engagements".

Aircraft grade aluminum on wing leading edge (some aircraft like Tomcat have titanium) is designed and built to take stresses at up to and including supersonic speeds. "Soft" vehicles like this, even if they are steel, don't have a chance

Are you really sure that it was the fault of the pilot? I mean...if I was driving up behind a plane with an external tank painted in such a fashion I could understand getting vertigo...

Local judge ruled that the operator (pilot) of the motor vehicle (small plane) gets to keep the roadkill (deer/VW), not the airport owner.

Securitys suspicions were vindicated: The jet was caught red handed with the goods, and now everybody could breath easier.
