| Planchet lamination. Even light gray toning with very minor hairlines. A line of planchet lamination crosses star 3 toward Liberty's mouth. This is another very tough Rarity-5+ variety with a very small population relative to the existing number of half dollar variety collectors. This variety is perhaps just a little tougher than the 1833 O-115 offered several lots above. Both have similar Rarity-5+ ratings, however, this die marriage appears less often at auction.
