The variety designated as 1835 Overton-111 is the Crushed Lettered Edge issue of this year. Just three examples are known and this variety is not represented in the Logan Collection. Two of those three examples sold within a 14 month period from April 1997 to May 1998, from the Eliasberg and Pittman Collections. The third example is in the Smithsonian Institution.
