An extremely attractive example with deep grayish brown toning and lighter gray on the devices. Splashes of very light blue add to the overall appeal of this rarity. A few very minor surface marks are strictly consistent with the grade. Two light scratches are noted in the reverse field below the scroll.

Another very rare and highly sought after example. Among all the rare 1827 die marriages, O-124, 127, and 144 are each considered Rarity-5+. Overton-137 is listed as Rarity-6, O-148 is Rarity-7, and O-149 is Rarity-8. Therefore, the first three varieties mentioned are all approximately tied for the fourth rarest die marriage of the year.

Heavy clash marks at Liberty's ear. Perfect reverse.
