Struck 3% off-center at 10:00. Very minor dentil tracks right of the date. Natural grayish brown with slightly deeper toning at the borders. A few minor rim bruises and other light abrasions are visible.

The coinage of 1826 includes two die marriages considered rare and two others considered scarce. Coinage totaled 4,004,180 coins from a combination of 13 obverse and 18 reverse dies, for a total of 20 die marriages. Two of these are rare and two others very scarce. Among coins of this date in the Logan Collection will be found 22 coins representing all 20 die marriages.
