| Cracked planchet. Light silver surfaces with deep peripheral toning, especially on the obverse. A deep scrape is between the digit 5 and lower hair curl. There is no doubt that some who view this will consider it a damaged coin, however, the truly knowledgeable will recognize this as a mint error. The planchet was cracked extending from the edge through star 3 down to Liberty's drapery and, on the reverse, through N to left edge of the scroll.
