Tripled edge. Outstanding quality with virtually complete satiny lustre. Intermingled blue, lilac, heather, pale gold, and amber over silvery gray surfaces. This is the quality that many would call fully Mint State. Faint traces of wear only on the very highest hair curls, stars, and tops of the eagle's wings and head.

This edge is clearly tripled with so many overlapping letters that it is extremely difficult to determine where each set of edge letters begins and ends, or which letters belong to each set. Quite simply, this is one of the most spectacular edge blunders we have seen.
