Very pleasing, smooth surfaces. Very slight weakness is seen only on the highest hair details and the tops of the eagle’s wings. The borders are complete although narrow. Deep brown with full underlying lustre. Iridescent gold and green at the peripheries. A small green spot is visible at the eagle’s beak. This example will take its place among the finer examples of the variety. Steve Herrman lists three examples each certified as MS-64. Parsley lists one finer MS-65 example. This specimen appears to be within the top six for the variety.

Light clash marks are seen at Liberty's ear, and around the bottom portion of the eagle and its accouterments.
