Very sharply struck with prooflike fields and deep steel toning in the fields. The devices are lighter gray. An exceptional example with considerable eye appeal. This is from the same reverse die used for the famous 1817/4 overdate. Note that both I's are lacking their lower right serif, giving the appearance of J's.

Very early with perfect dies. The small dot between 1 and 7 is clearly visible.
