| Bright silver surfaces with frosty lustre. A few very slight abrasions are noted. Although no doubt cleaned, this example retains considerable aesthetic appeal. The obverse border is weakly defined from 12:00 to 3:00 with similar weakness along the reverse border. Both obverse and reverse have prominent clash marks. Aside from the heavy defect ridge from left wing to scroll, there is no evidence of other die damage. Purchased March 10, 1989 from Sheridan Downey. |
