A lovely example with deep golden brown and steel toning, retaining considerable underlying lustre. Not perfectly centered with thinner borders at lower obverse and upper reverse. This centering does not quite constitute an off-center error. This obverse die and that of O-110 are the same, despite being assigned different die numbers and descriptions by Overton.

Intermediate between O-105 and O-105a. Both obverse and reverse dies exhibit extensive flowlines with stars and letters drawn to the border. Some of the die cracks for O-105a are visible, including the heavy die crack across olive leaves into the shield.

FIFTY CENTS OR A DOLLAR.
