Very sharp central details with considerable weakness at the borders. Mostly brilliant ivory with nearly complete lustre. The obverse borders show very little detail while the reverse borders are mostly complete. A few trivial scratches are evident in the reverse fields. A small reverse rim bruise is located over M of AMERICA. This is among the top quality examples of the variety and is second finest in the JRCS Census and equal to fifth finest listed by Parsley.

Prominent obverse clash marks with lighter reverse clash marks.

Purchased September 26, 1982 at a Youngstown, Ohio coin show.
