Light gray devices with deeper gray toning in the fields, gradually strengthening to steel gray at the borders. A few very minor abrasions are consistent with the grade.

The obverse has a very light die crack from bust to first four stars at left, continuing weakly into the field toward Liberty's forecurl. The reverse has a weak die crack through the tops of D STATE.
