Very light silver gray with wisps of gold toning along the borders. No doubt cleaned in the past. The surfaces are very lightly abraded. Considerable weakness is noted at Liberty's chin directly resulting from the die state noted below.

The obverse has a very prominent die crack through base of the date, extending left and right. A bulge is present in the left obverse field, adjacent to Liberty's chin and causing weakness at this point. The reverse has shallow raised lumps between 0 and C of the denomination. This is the same reverse die earlier used for 1809 O-107 and O-108, later states, with clash marks through AMERICA and the arrows. On this variety, the clash marks are mostly effaced and only slightly visible through the arrowheads.
