Rotated Dies. The reverse is rotated clockwise 70°. An extremely attractive example with considerable lustre beneath light gold, blue, and iridescent toning. A small rim scrape is outside star 2.

This date presents an important opportunity for the beginning variety collector. A collection of all 10 varieties for the year presents only a modest challenge with half of these considered common and the other half all listed as Rarity-3. The 10 varieties were used to produce 1,276,276 coins, through combination of nine obverse and 10 reverse dies. A total of 17 different coins are offered as part of the Logan Collection, including several edge errors and other error coins.

Light obverse and reverse clash marks. Cracked through base of date, drapery, and stars at left. The reverse has a die crack through the leaves and UNITE to border over D with another through ES to the scroll. This appears to be a late state of O-101, not quite matching the description for O-101a.
