Traces of lustre remain with light gray surfaces and peripheral gold toning. This is a very attractive example and an important late die state of this variety. The present example may qualify as one of the five or six finest of this late die state.

Both obvese and reverse have prominent die cracks as described by Overton. The reverse has a heavy die break at the top vertical shield stripes. This is one of the latest die states seen and is quite scarce as such.
