Sharpness finer with old scratches at center of obverse and reverse. Mostly light gray with gold and iridescent peripheral toning.

The obverse has an extremely faint crack joining the tops of 18. On the reverse, a die crack joins the tops of OF, the wing tip, and the centers of AMERICA, finally reaching the eagle's tail feathers. The other die cracks mentioned by Overton are not visible.
