Sharply struck with light gray surfaces and trivial abrasions. Virtually full lustre. This is the finest example in the Dime Census, although a few Mint State examples are known, including the Eliasberg MS-67 coin.
This is the only obverse die use. The reverse was later used for 1835 JR-2.
Perfect obverse. The reverse is nearly perfect with a tiny crack between bases of ED.
Purchased November 1980 at a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania coin show.
