Pleasing light gray with hints of rose and blue toning. A common variety available in all grades.

Second obverse die use after JR-4 and the first reverse use prior to JR-6.

The obverse has an extremely faint die crack through 834. The reverse appears perfect without die cracks. The die lines described in the Dime Book are visible, including a line from lower beak to shield not otherwise described.
