Sharpness slightly finer with an obverse rim bruise over star 7 and a reverse rim nick at 12:00. Deep steel, heather, and gold toning with traces of lustre. Only one finer example is listed in the Dime Census.

This is the first obverse die use before JR-5 and JR-6. The only reverse die use.
