Deep steel toning with lighter gray devices. A few minor blemishes are noted, consistent with the grade. This is a common variety available in all grades through Mint State.

This obverse was earlier used for JR-1 and later for JR-3. The reverse was used earlier in 1829 for JR-10.

The obverse has a horizontal die crack across the front of the cap. The reverse has several cracks. A die crack from border to scroll through left side of O. Another from the border to scroll through left side of first S. From border through C of denomination to right claw and right side of shield. Through the middle pair of leaves and stem to upper pair of leaves. Through tops of ITE to border. Faint cracks from right end of scroll to top of right wing.
