Light silver surfaces with faint champagne toning and considerable lustre. Very lightly cleaned, although still retaining considerable eye appeal. A very scarce variety that is generally found in lower grades through Extremely Fine. This example is recorded as second finest of 17 examples listed in the JRCS Dime Census.

This is the second obverse die use after JR-8 and before JR-12. The only reverse die use.

Extremely faint die cracks connect outer points of some stars at the left. Perfect reverse with weak raised die lines through TED STA.

Purchased at the 1989 FUN Convention.
