A second example of this variety, also without the lump on the scroll under the first S of STATES. Highly attractive with faint hairlines. Lightly and naturally toned with heather and splashes of pale blue. Stack's graded this "About Uncirculated" in the Robison catalogue.

The obverse has a light crack from the border through star 5 to Liberty's nose and mouth. The reverse has a crack from border to scroll through A of STATES. Another very faint crack connects the bottom right curve of D to the scroll.

From Stack's sale of the Robison Collection, Lot 1014.
