A second example of this elusive variety. Light lilac with traces of pink and gold toning. Sharpness finer with some tooling and hairlines. Minor doubling is noted on the reverse. In the Lovejoy catalogue, Stack's graded this "Extremely Fine" for which we concur.

Second use of the obverse after JR-7 and first use of the reverse die before JR-9.

The obverse has a tiny die chip at right center of digit 8. Rim crumbling is evident on the obverse from 12:00 to 3:00. Perfect reverse.

From Stack’s sale of the Lovejoy Collection, October 1990, Lot 83. Ex William L. Subjack, August 6, 1986. Earlier from Florida Numismatics.
