Pale gray surfaces with golden brown, lilac, and iridescent toning. Very minor scratches and other light surface marks are noted, including a few trivial rim bruises. A scarce variety and particularly elusive in higher circulated grades. This example is tied for finest of 14 coins in the Dime Census.

First obverse die use before JR-6 and second use of the reverse die after JR-4.

Perfect obverse. The reverse has a light die crack through bases of RICA to the upper arrowhead.

Purchased April 1990 at a Milwaukee, Wisconsin coin show.
