Lightly cleaned with light gray surfaces and peripheral iridescent toning. Slightly weak obverse devices. Considered a common variety available in all grades including Proof. Only one variety (JR-5) has a higher population than this in the Dime Census, yet this die marriage has the second lowest average grade of any variety for the year. This example is the finest recorded in the Census.

The only use of either die.

Very light obverse and reverse clash marks.
