Dark gray fields with lighter gray devices. A pleasing example with only a few minor abrasions. This obverse was only used for the present marriage while the reverse die was also used for 1836 B-4.

Early die state. Very faint die cracks through stars at right with an additional extremely faint crack from border to lower hair curl. An additional very light crack is evident through R and the cap. Perfect reverse.
