Sharpness slightly finer with lightly cleaned silver surfaces. Minor obverse abrasions at 5:00. The reverse has a faint trace of light gold toning. This is a slightly scarcer variety. This is the obverse of 1834 B-3, 4, and 5. The reverse was also used to produce 1835 B-1.

The obverse has a very light crack from top of the cap to border, just above star 8. This was not described by Browning or Breen, however, is visible in the Browning plate. The reverse is lightly cracked through STA and the field over the eagle, reaching RIC. This example actually appears to have two different cracks, the first as described above actually terminating at E of AMERICA, with a second crack from the right wing to RIC.
