Subdued gray and lilac surfaces with some corrosion on either side. This example is third finest among 14 coins in the JRCS census. Struck from a single 1832 dated obverse die. The reverse was also used for 1831 B-7.

The obverse die crack between stars 12 and 13 is difficult to see on this example.

In Volume 6, Issue 2 of the Journal, David Finkelstein provided an expanded description of both obverse and reverse dies of this marriage.
