Medium gray fields with lighter gray devices. Very faint gold toning is present on the obverse. The reverse is lighter with minor hairlines. This variety was coined from the same obverse die also used for 1831 B-4 and a reverse die also used with 1831 B-5, 1832 B-1, and 1833 B-1. Perfect dies. 1831 Browning-7was not known to Browning in 1925 and today, is known to the extent of four coins. This variety was not included in the Logan Collection. The 1831 B-7 variety shared an obverse die with 1831 B-5 and a reverse die with 1832 B-2. |
