Choice gold and sky blue surfaces with a tiny rim bruise at 4:30. An aesthetically pleasing example. Only eight examples are listed in the JRCS census with this coin ranking third. Both obverse and reverse dies were only used for this marriage.

Perfect dies.

"Browning-6" of 1821 was discovered by Aram Haroutunian in January 1991 with the second example found by the same collector in the same month! Today, three examples of this new and rare variety are listed in the JRCS Quarter Census. The B-6 variety is one of few not included in the Logan Collection. Regarding 1821 B-6, the obverse die also appeared on 1821 B-1 and B-2 quarters while the reverse was not used elsewhere in the series.
