This is the obverse of 1821 B-1, B-2, and B-6. The reverse die was used for 1820 B-4 and 1821 B-3. Perfect dies. The recorded mintage for 1821 was 216,851 coins. The coinage bearing this date included six die varieties from a combination of three obverse and five reverse dies. |
