| Sharpness slightly finer. Cleaned and with splashes of light peripheral toning. This is the only variety among 1819 quarter dollars considered common. Less examples of this die marriage were recorded in the Census than any other variety of the year. The obverse was only used for this variety while the reverse was also used for 1819 B-4. Obverse and reverse nearly perfect with a very faint die crack from the border through star 11. |
