Medium gray surfaces with lighter silvery gray on the devices. Both obverse and reverse are accented by amber and iridescent toning. An attractive example, nicely centered and sharply defined within the context of this grade. A few very faint hairlines and other trivial surface marks are noted. The reverse has a tiny rim bruise at 3:00.

Faint obverse clash marks with more visible reverse clash marks. The reverse is lightly cracked through the tops of UNI and also ST. The reverse die was earlier used in 1805.
