Despite being very lightly cleaned with faint hairlines, this example has considerable eye appeal and is an ideal candidate for the date or type collector. Central obverse and reverse have considerable design weakness. This is considered a common die variety although higher grade examples are elusive. An early die state with light obverse clash marks but no other die defects. |
