Logan-McCloskey Plate Coin, Page 266. Intermingled bluish green, lilac, and gold toning. Both obverse and reverse have satiny lustre. A pleasing example. Although 21 examples are listed in the Census, only two are finer than this. Although a common marriage, this is the rarest of the LM-8 remarriages.

The only use of obverse 4 and the second use of reverse DD. The obverse has very light clash marks. The reverse is lightly clashed with a die crack from border to scroll between D S and another crack to top of O.

Purchased March 1991 from Julian Leidman.
