Logan-McCloskey Plate Coin, Page 262. Harshly cleaned with light silver surfaces and traces of gold toning. A scarce die marriage and the rarest remarriage of the LM-5 combination.

Second use of obverse 3 and the first use of reverse CC. Faint clash marks are visible on the obverse. Perfect reverse.

Very few examples of this early die state are known, with none recognized by Valentine. An MS-62 example was acquired by collector Gary Rosner and reported in Volume 14, Issue 1 of the Journal.

This reverse was used for two different marriages and one remarriage: 1835 LM-5.1, 1835 LM-6, 1835 LM-5.2.
