Logan-McCloskey Plate Coin, Page 242. Lustrous light gray with hints of lilac and gold toning. A pleasing example of this variety. A common die marriage available in all grades.

This is the eighth use of obverse 2 and the second use of reverse Y. The obverse is cracked from border to cap and L. A die chip is present in the lower loop of 8. Other minor cracks and die defects are noted. The reverse is nearly perfect with only a faint crack to top of first A in AMERICA.

Purchased at the 1992 FUN Convention.
