Logan-McCloskey Plate Coin, Page 220. Light pewter gray with hairlines visible on both obverse and reverse. Just three finer examples are listed in the Half Dime Census from a roster of 13 coins. This is a rare die marriage and is one of only two die marriages (among those known at the time) missing from the Stewart Witham Collection when sold by Rarcoa in 1977. This is the rarest remarriage of the LM-11 die variety.

The fourth use of obverse 2 and the fourth use of reverse U. Perfect obverse. The reverse has a tiny die chip in N and a die line over M.

From Superior's sale of the Worrell Collection, September 1993, Lot 295.
