Logan-McCloskey Plate Coin, Page 185. This is a brilliant silvery white example with sharp design features and very faint lilac toning along the borders. Minute hairlines are evident. An attractive and highly desirable example. Only one finer example is recorded in the Census from a total population of 18 coins. A scarce die marriage although available in higher grades.

Third use of obverse 5 and the third use of reverse M. The obverse has a prominent die crack through star 6 to the cap and from the cap between stars 8 and 9 to the border. An additional faint die crack extends from the border between stars 9 and 10 to the upper hair curl. The reverse has a small die chip at lower right side of F, and die rust in the field below RI on the scroll, and also below the left tail of the scroll.
