Incomplete planchet punch visible on both obverse and reverse. Grade assigned based on obverse details, the reverse being slightly sharper. Pleasing light gray surfaces with very minor surface marks as expected. Just five examples were recorded in the Half Dime Census. An extremely rare die marriage that was discovered by Gary DiMartini in 1978 but not reported for 19 years until Glenn Peterson announced discovery at the annual meeting of the John Reich Collectors Society.
