Logan-McCloskey Plate Coin, Page 171. Sharpness slightly finer with light silver surfaces and prominent hairlines on the obverse. Two obverse surface marks provide instant identification of this example. Although a scarce die marriage and rarer than LM-1.1, the half dime book authors reported a number of high-grade examples being found over many years.

This is the first use of obverse 1 and the fourth use of reverse G. Perfect obverse. The reverse has all cracks described in the Logan-McCloskey reference with the exception of the rim breaks or cuds that developed later.

Although used for just two die varieties, this reverse saw a total of four uses: 1829 LM-13.1, 1830 LM-1.1, 1829 LM-13.2, 1830 LM-1.2.
