A small defect is noted under the right wing. Offered by Rarcoa in 1977 as Choice AU, lightly cleaned. This is a common die marriage known in all grades including Proof. A total of 19 examples were recorded in the Census with this coin in fifth place.

This is the first use of both obverse and reverse dies. The emission sequence for this reverse was 1829 LM-13.1, 1830 LM-1.1, 1829 LM-13.2, 1830 LM-1.2. Perfect obverse and reverse dies.
