    Fake????? What are you smoking???? This pic was taken at Beale AFB in Marysville Ca, they had more than 2 stationed there, as a matter of fact, they still have a couple there (1 with engines installed and ready to go). I was just at Beale for training in 2003.

    Lockheed model A11 first flew in approx. 1956. This went on to be the CIA "A12". SR-71 prototype was constructed from the 3rd YF-12A and first flew in 1963. First SR-71A flew in 1964. Piloted by the one and only "Fish" Salmon.
