When did this happen??? I know this plane!! It belongs to Tom Wood of Indianapolis, a very successful car dealer with several dealerships. It looks like Mount Comfort Airport.

No, this is not a R/C model the props used for R/C planes do not bend at the tips like the picture, they shatter because they are either carbon fiber or plastic. I know because I fly R/C planes and have had to belly land several times and my props where broke every time.

-yup, put er right on the pavement--
if he had landed on the grass, he would have had an engine full of dirt, and probably a ripped off intake scoop

For those that are still skeptical, this IS a real plane. I flew it a few weeks ago. It's a P-51D ownd by Tom Wood and is based at the Indianapolis International Airport. The entire bottom and nose end had to be replaced as well as the engine.
