Thats a baddass plane, its the reason why we are building f-22, not sure how that wing config helps tho, would think the aerodynamics would be terrible for anything above mach 1..

Actually, the forward swept wing and canards help in manuverability at high speeds.
Just to note: The aircraft is the Soviet SU-47 Berkut.

If the FWD SWPT Wing warping problems could have been solved (stronger materials), this could have been closer to the design of the F-22. Much better in a dog fight.

foward swept wings ate 10times more effichent than bacwards but there was heaps of handeling probs... and for all u yanks out there the us made one as well.... it sucked just as much
