Aicraft had a brake problem when landing at Bagram in Afghanistan. Left runway and nose gear collapsed, pilot ejected and aircraft ended up in mine field at end of runway. Note yellow markers beside aircraft marking safe route to aircraft.

The whole damned area has mines. We keep finding new ones every day. "Walk only on the areas with plywood" they tell me one night. Next week on a stopover, they moved the plywood to a new area..."Oh, we found more mines in the old clearway..."
