Ah, yes, the famous KC-135 "Steam Jet". Caught a ride in one years ago. We refuled A-10s over the Alaska Range.

Not a cart start. It's the water injection just prior to the bleed valves closing. (or opening). Cart start would be Black smoke. Water injection felt like a 4-barrel carb kicking in.
